Description:To start with the price is firm. I have had this car for about 5 years; it came from Iowa. The car is in an original condition. It is a No-Post car as well as a numbers matching car. I have replaced many items that it took to put this car back on the road. Drove it daily for around 3 yr.s. Checked the car with the NADA.com website and it says that the car in its condition should be sold for $8452.00 but, I am not asking for much more than what I have in the car. Here are is a list of items that I can think of that I have replaced or fixed.
complete brake system replaced which includes power brake booster, all brake cylinders, new spring kit for each wheel, replaced brake shoes, and soft brake lines.
wooden Grant steering wheel
rebuilt starter
new 4bbl Quadjet Carb.
NOS light switch
removed the vacuum pump for the wipers and installed an electrical 2 speed motor
new radiator
have air shocks on rear of car
had rear leaf springs redone and strengthened
had transmission pan removed and internals including filter cleaned and replaced
original radio still works
replaced rear taillight lenses
installed electric fuel pump
as you can see I have done quite a bit to this car. It does have the original 324 V8 engine. As far as the paint, the front is the original eggshell white and the rear had been primered prior to me getting the car.
the front windshield and the front side windows have some bad spots on them.
